How The Auction Works:

1. The auction will run from 23:00 hours (GMT) on Sunday the 22nd of July 2012 and bidding will close at 23:00 hours (GMT) on Sunday the 5th of August 2012.

2. Take a look at the items on offer and decide which item(s) you wish to bid on. The current highest bid is displayed within each item description and will be updated throughout the day.

3. Email your bid or any questions to josephsjourney@virginmedia.com. Remember to tell us which item you are bidding on. Please include your phone number and any other contact details in your email and advise us if you want your bid to be anonymous.

4. If multiple bids of the same value are received for an item then the bid that was received first will take priority.

5. At the close of the auction we will contact the highest bidder to arrange payment and delivery of their item. Payment is to be made via Joseph's dedicated charity page at www.bmycharity.com/josephscharityauction. All major credit/debit cards are accepted.

6. Due to the varied nature, size and mix of items we have on offer, where necessary we have provided details regarding postage on each individual item description. If you do win one of the larger items and wish for it to be posted to you, please be aware that you will be required to pay the postage costs. This will be either by courier or special delivery. If you choose to collect the item from us, Jobo squeezes will be included.

A photograph of Portsmouth FC striker, Marko Futacs (#5) was recently donated to CLIC Sargent by Portsmouth FC. Our charity coordinator then forwarded it on to us to include in the auction. We have since had it professionally framed by our friends at Stoke gallery, Gosport.

Following a recent plea on Twitter, Yvonne Davidson from Airdrie, North Lanarkshire, just outside of Glasgow made contact and kindly offered her services.

An original oil painting by Spanish artist Fatima Pantoja - Current bid £110

Up for grabs is this stunning original piece of artwork.

Dad met Fatima by chance whilst she was busy painting this picture in South Street, Chichester. After learning about Joseph, Fatima kindly got in touch and offered the finished work for auction. It really is a wonderful picture, depicting the lovely city of Chichester, West Sussex.

A New Zealand Maori Greenstone (Jade) pendant - Current bid £60

Joseph's Grandmother (the boys call her Namba) wished to contribute towards the charity auction by sending over this very pretty Greenstone (Jade) Maori pendant. The stone was both sourced and carved in New Zealand.

This is an absolute must item for the Fulham fans out there!  This item was kindly donated by Danny Murphy and his Wife Joanna who have been supporting Joseph since learning of his illness.

Up for grabs is this wonderful item.  The flight suit has been signed by the Red Arrows team which performed at the world famous Farnborough Air Show 2012.

Joseph recently received his very first hair cut at 'Cuts and Clobber', Lee-on-the-Solent where we were extremely impressed by the level of service and child friendly environment. Joseph was kept well and truly occupied in a New York taxi chair, DVD and sneeky biscuit. There was also a motorbike available to sit on, however we felt the wee man was maybe a little young for that yet!

Teresa is a friend, fellow work colleague and amateur sculptor based in Gosport, Hampshire. She has kindly agreed to donate a piece of her work, to be commissioned by the winning bidder.

A Rare and Special Signed Ricky Hatton Picture. Current bid £40

This splendid item has a story behind it.  On learning about Joseph's illness, a very old friend of Joseph's Grandad kindly donated this to the auction.  In fact, he himself had originally bought this at a charity auction and wished to "Pay it forward."
