How The Auction Works:

1. The auction will run from 23:00 hours (GMT) on Sunday the 22nd of July 2012 and bidding will close at 23:00 hours (GMT) on Sunday the 5th of August 2012.

2. Take a look at the items on offer and decide which item(s) you wish to bid on. The current highest bid is displayed within each item description and will be updated throughout the day.

3. Email your bid or any questions to josephsjourney@virginmedia.com. Remember to tell us which item you are bidding on. Please include your phone number and any other contact details in your email and advise us if you want your bid to be anonymous.

4. If multiple bids of the same value are received for an item then the bid that was received first will take priority.

5. At the close of the auction we will contact the highest bidder to arrange payment and delivery of their item. Payment is to be made via Joseph's dedicated charity page at www.bmycharity.com/josephscharityauction. All major credit/debit cards are accepted.

6. Due to the varied nature, size and mix of items we have on offer, where necessary we have provided details regarding postage on each individual item description. If you do win one of the larger items and wish for it to be posted to you, please be aware that you will be required to pay the postage costs. This will be either by courier or special delivery. If you choose to collect the item from us, Jobo squeezes will be included.

An original oil painting by Spanish artist Fatima Pantoja - Current bid £110

Up for grabs is this stunning original piece of artwork.

Dad met Fatima by chance whilst she was busy painting this picture in South Street, Chichester. After learning about Joseph, Fatima kindly got in touch and offered the finished work for auction. It really is a wonderful picture, depicting the lovely city of Chichester, West Sussex.

Spanish born Fatima studied at one of the most prestigious fine arts universities in Spain, San Carlos and at the Polytechnic university of Valencia where she finished her masters degree. During the course of her studies, she met and worked as a lecturer's assistant for well known Spanish artists such as Rosa Artero, Ciriaco and José Saborit.


Fatima is currently working as a freelance artist, doing paintings, drawings, portraits, landscapes, any kind of sculptures and caricatures.
